The kitchen sponge is the dirtiest item in your home. While some people will dream up ways to try and clean a sponge it really doesn't work. Our approach is to encourage people to change their sponge every week. In fact, a new scientific study out of Germany warns that the bacterial levels in an old dirty sponge are comparable to a stool sample.
